FHA Today, No. 114 FHA activities are increasing dramatically with more funding to fill the gap created by the collapse of the sub-prime system. This course is intended to provide the foundation necessary to appraise for the FHA Single Family (203B) Program. It provides the three essential chapters from the HUD Handbook of 1999, plus the most critical sections of the new Appendix D and the Mortgagee Letters that amend/update the Handbook and the Appendix, to include special new policies concerning amendments to required repairs and inspections. In short, all the information and reference material necessary to competently and confidently pursue FHA assignments.
